Our PhilosophyNot all gymnastics schools and gymnastics programs are created equal. The philosophy of the program is a crucial factor that should be considered in any parent's decision-making process when selecting a program for their most prized possessions... their kids!
Our first priority, of course, is the safety of our students (your children). It may be surprising, but, in our opinion and most unfortunately, safety does not appear to us to be the first priority of all gymnastics schools. We have an impeccable safety record and we attribute that record to our coaches and staff's collective wisdom of knowing when to push an athlete to new heights and when to hold that athlete back; when to let an athlete set their own limits and when to set limits for them. Our coaches know that sometimes slow is fast, meaning that modest, incremental progress is almost always superior and preferable to quick-fix achievements that far too often lead to unnecessary injuries. In other words, you can't "cram" physical skills like gymnastics training. Our philosophy on teaching and training children to be competitive athletes, build skills that apply both in and out of the gymnastics studio, and/or just have fun is the cumulative product of decades of experience full of successes (and failures) by our staff and coaches. The Power Triangle
None of what we achieve at Chameleon would be possible without what we call the Power Triangle. Athlete, coach, and parent! All three of these ingredients must be present for success.
Without parental support and trust... the athlete will fail. Without the coaches experience and wisdom... the athlete will fail; and without desire and commitment... the athlete will fail. We have a heartfelt appreciation for every parent's support and willingness to sacrifice on so many levels. We want you to know that we don't take what you have entrusted to us lightly... your most prized possession!
