Parent-Toddler Gymnastics
This combined parent-child class is a wonderful, powerful bonding experience for both parent and child; focused on basic motor skills, perceptual development and cognitive skills. Meeting just one time per week, participants will jointly practice basic gymnastic fundamentals such as rolling, stretching, coordination games, parent-assisted handstands, walking the balance beam, and hanging from the uneven parallel bars. Parent/caregiver participation is required, as this age group is not developmentally ready to be separated from their adult. The child must be able to walk without assistance.
