** Young Guns
Ages 13-15 years old
Volunteer (non-paid) time
Serve as a floater - traffic control at beginning of class, help kids, take them to bathroom, take attendance, be a positive role model, shadow and learn from other coaches on staff.
** Teachers in Training
Ages 15+
Must have completed 3 weeks minimum as a Young Gun and pass an evaluation to start.
Paid minimum wage to shadow and train with coaches on staff.
Must complete the 6 week training course before being able to sub &/or take own classes.

Meet our coaching staff

Laszlo Mako
Laszlo Mako has his Bachelor of Arts in Recreation from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences. In addition, he has a Masters in Sports Science Physical Education and Adapted Physical Education. He has worked as a gymnastics coach for over 12 years. He has been a certified Gymnastics Judge since 2009. He has been invited to coach at Karolyi's Gymnastics Camp since 2008. At the Karolyi Ranch he was invited for weekly training workshops hosted by Bela and Martha Karolyi. He has organized and supervised campers and gymnasts, while conducting various activities outside of the gym. He has created numerous routines for gymnasts to compete. He has coached boys and girls in all levels of recreational and USAG gymnastics and developed group clinics for individual skill development. He has coordinated with several gym owners on program development and trained staff on new methods of coaching vault, bars, beam, floor exercise. He is an expert in FMS (Functional Movement Screening) and he is a qualified medical masseur. A few of his highlights in coaching and student accomplishments - *Pro Facultate, 2013 Highest award for a student at Semmelweis University Faculty of Physical Education and Sport Sciences Budapest *Over all the best Coach-2013 Karolyi Camp. *In the Equestrian Sport the Vaulting team what he was training got Team-2013 Gold Medal, 2011 Gold and Silver Medals and 2010 Gold and Silver Medals. |

My name is Cassidy Young. I have been a coach here at Chameleon Gymnastics since 2014. I coach all levels of girls rec and the Xcel Bronze team. I did gymnastics for eight years and I just recently quit due to ankle injuries. I think gymnastics is great for kids of all ages to be active, learn teamwork and it’s just an overall fun environment. |

Jack DeVries
I have been in gymnastics throughout most of my life. I was a competitive gymnast for 5 years. I placed 2nd on vault for level 8 before I was injured. Now I am healed and back in the sport. I am a boys recreational and team gymnastics coach. I also coach beginner and intermediate parkour. And I am in the advanced parkour class. |
